Questions about Asia
Can I use one eSIM across Asia?
Yes. The Asia plan is one eSIM for 15 countries. Install it once, then connect in each covered country.
Which networks?
The eSIM connects to local partner networks in each covered country. Your phone picks an available network.
Will it work in neighbouring countries?
It works in the 15 countries included with the Asia plan. A country that is not on that list needs its own plan or the Global plan.
Can I hotspot?
Yes. Personal hotspot is allowed and uses the same data allowance.
Calls and SMS?
No. Regional plans are data only. There is no local number for regular calls or SMS. WhatsApp keeps the number already registered in the app.
When does my plan start?
The plan starts when your phone first connects in a covered country. Installing the eSIM earlier does not start the days.
