Can I use an eSIM in Vietnam?
Yes, on an unlocked phone that supports eSIM. Install it before you fly, then turn that line on when you arrive in Vietnam.
Which networks?
The plan can connect to Viettel, Mobifone, Vinaphone. Your phone chooses an available partner network.
Will it work in neighbouring countries?
This plan covers this country only. For several countries on one eSIM, see the Asia plan.
Can I hotspot?
Yes. Personal hotspot is allowed. Shared data comes out of the same plan.
Calls and SMS?
No. This is a data plan. It does not include a local number, regular calls, or SMS. WhatsApp and other internet calling apps use the data connection.
When does my plan start?
The plan starts when your phone connects in Vietnam. Installing the QR earlier does not start the days.
