Can I use an eSIM in Japan?

Will it work in neighbouring countries?

Can I hotspot?

Calls and SMS?
No. This is a data plan. It does not include a local number, regular calls, or SMS. WhatsApp and other internet calling apps use the data connection.
When does my plan start?
The plan starts when your phone connects in Japan. Installing the QR earlier does not start the days.
